Four Blind Mice

This is an okay book written by James Patterson. Detective Alex Cross is contemplating retirement when his partner John Sampson comes to his door and explains that one of his Vietnam buddies is about to be wrongfully executed. There is a strong case against the soldier, but murder is out of character for him. Cross learns of other cases and thinks there are three killers setting up former soldiers. He must uncover new evidence and stop them from hurting anyone else. This is the 8th book in the series.
