Eyes of Prey

This is an okay book written by John Sandford. Minneapolis Lieutenant Lucas Davenport is feeling depressed and unfocused, but he is summoned to track down a serial killer who has a disturbing obsession with the eyes of his victims. At first it seems like an isolated case when the wife of a prominent physician is murdered, but then a second woman dies under similar circumstances. The police have a main suspect, but he seems to have solid alibis for all of the crimes. This is the third novel in the series.
