Men in Black II (2002)

This is an imperfect-but-creditable movie. Five years have passed and Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) is now working as the postmaster of a small town in Massachusetts, having forgotten his previous work involving aliens. Agent J (Will Smith) uncovers a diabolical plot by Serleena, a shape shifting Kylothian queen who disguises herself as a lingerie model, but resembles a plant-like hydra in her own form. Agent K is brought back because he is the only living agent who knows where to find the Light of Zartha, but he must rely on clues he left behind. If the Light is not taken off Earth and returned to Zartha, it will explode and destroy the planet.

The film is based on a comic book series started in 1990. The climax of the film was originally to have taken place at New York City's World Trade Center. However, this had to be changed following the destruction of the buildings in the September 11 attacks. For the special effects scene involving Jeff the Worm, a specially designed vise was used to crush a subway car.
