Safe House (2012)

This is a solid movie. Matt Weston (Ryan Reynolds) is a low-level agent who lives in Cape Town, South Africa with his girlfriend Ana. He feels frustrated that he hasn't been able to earn a more significant job. Tobin Frost (Denzel Washington) is an ex-CIA agent turned international criminal who is in possession of secret files critical of several intelligence agencies. During his interrogation, the building is attacked and Weston decides to get him out to safety. He is then ordered to take the criminal to another location.

The film was Denzel Washington's second-biggest opener behind American Gangster (2007).
