This is an okay book written by Harlan Coben. Sports agent Myron Bolitar is about to hit the big time thanks to his client Christian Steele, a quarterback and rising star in football. When Christian receives a phone call from a former girlfriend things go bad. For one, this former girlfriend is believed to be dead. Soon Myron finds himself trying to weave through a web of family tragedy, a terrible secret, and one big lie. Myron’s in a tough spot, and finding the truth could lead to his own demise.

This is the first novel in the series.
