This is an okay book written by Janet Evanovich. When her not-so-bright brother Wild Bill, a boat captain, goes missing in Florida, Alexandra “Barney” Barnaby leaves Baltimore to take up the search. As she follows Wild Bill’s trail of brokenhearted bimboes, Barney battles sunburn and humidity-induced bad hair. And then there’s sexy NASCAR driver Sam Hooker – who’s hoping to take Barney for a test drive – and whose missing yacht just might lead to Wild Bill.

This is the first book in the Barnaby series.
